
This is an association that is the promotional and social body for equestrianism in Jersey, for the benefit of the local equestrian community and all related stakeholders.
These include equestrian clubs, service and product providers, both within the equine industry and wider local market, and for the benefit of the general public and visitors to the Island – with the aim of raising and growing the profile of the equestrian sector in Jersey.
Included in its objectives are to unite the clubs, organisations and related stakeholders within the equestrian sector in Jersey, with the common goal of streamlining events and memberships for the overall promotion and growth of Jersey’s equestrian sector, by holding a series of equine events and related social gatherings as hosted by and/or in connection with the equestrian clubs, organisations and related stakeholders.

THE PARADE OF THE HORSE

To celebrate the Chinese Year of the Horse, there will be a special parade of horses showcasing the beauty and talents of breeds from around the world. There are nine different breeds of horse already taking part, from the very big to the very small. with more breeds to be added!
The Parade of the Horse is kindly being hosted by the RJA&HS, as part of their Summer Fair (13 to 14 June 2026), which also includes the Spring Cattle Show, and Early Summer Flower Show.
The ‘Parade of the Horse’ will be in the afternoon of Saturday 13 June.

ST OUEN HACKING ‘LOOP’ WITH BRIDLE PATHWAY

A hacking loop in St. Ouen has been put together that you can enjoy with your equine friends. Please ensure you use this pathway as much as possible, as the foliage will quickly become overgrown if not kept back by riding the route. (The parish does not have funds to keep it cleared all year around).
