JERSEY GARDENING CLUB ZOOM IN ON PLANT PRODUCTION

The Jersey Gardening Club is hosting a presentation by UK award-winning plant breeder and perennial grower Graham Spencer on Zoom on 24th July at the Royal Jersey Showground starting at 7.30pm.

Graham, the owner of Plant for Europe Ltd, lives in Uckfield, East Sussex, and his talk entitled ‘From Cuttings to Garden Centre – How Plants are Produced for Your Garden’ will offer surprising insights into the transformation from seed to sales which can involve journeys of thousands of miles across many destinations.

The Jersey Gardening Club welcomes you to their monthly garden club nights where a warm atmosphere awaits with plant sales (cash only) or just a cuppa while catching up with like-minded friends.

The first visit to the club night is free (£5 thereafter) with free entry for Royal Jersey members. Jersey Gardening Club membership costs £25 single or £36 joint and insightful talks, garden visits and workshops are held throughout the year.
