Rural – Jersey Country Life Magazine

A journey of colour, faith, struggle and hope  – a personal art exhibition by Carmella Knight

This deeply personal exhibition is inspired by the nine spiritual qualities listed in Galatians 5:22–23 – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.  Each abstract painting begins in prayer and unfolds without a set plan, guided by intuition and spiritual connection.  Using layers of acrylic paint, tissue paper, and metallic leaf, themes of growth, surrender, and hope are explored.

The art is shaped as much by process as by outcome – raw, honest, and meditative.  Visitors are invited to pause, reflect, and connect with the emotional and spiritual layers embedded in each work.
