AWARENESS OF JERSEY TO BE RAISED AT ARTISTIC WORLD PLATFORM IN DUBAI

Anita Eastwood

Local artist Anita Eastwood has been accepted to exhibit in the 2023 exhibition of World Art Dubai (WAD), which is taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre in March next year. See www.worldartdubai.com

A watercolour and acrylic painter, Anita has been located in Jersey since 1993.  She is a member of ‘Genuine Jersey’, as well as being commissioned by Jersey Hospice, the Huggler Group and NatWest to design their Christmas cards.  She has also been commissioned for various private studies, e.g. houses, pets, flowers and still life and by the Animal Health Trust, the Jersey Race Club and the Jersey branch of the National Asthma Campaign (Jersey Branch)

She is seeking some monetary sponsorship to help her fund shipping her art to Dubai and towards travel expenses. Images of some of the art that she will be taking to Dubai are shown here.

She said: ‘It would be wonderful to have the opportunity to raise awareness of Jersey in this way.’

Should there be an interest to know more, she is contactable by e-mail at anitaeastwood@hotmail.com or via her website, www.anitaeastwood.com
