Although the full results have not yet been released, the Atlantic Hotel’s gardens have been recognised among Jersey’s finest. The hotel has been awarded first place in the Royal Jersey Agricultural & Horticultural Society’s 2026 All Island Garden Competition, recognising the exceptional quality of its gardens and grounds.
The hotel topped the Gardens Attached to a Hotel or Guest House category, achieving an impressive score of 94.5 out of 100 and receiving the John Le Sueur Rose Bowl.
Surrounded by the protected landscape of Les Mielles and overlooking St Ouen’s Bay, the gardens are carefully maintained throughout the year. The grounds feature mature planting, colourful seasonal displays and sweeping lawns that frame Jersey’s spectacular west coast.
The award reflects the dedication of Head Gardener John Taylor and his assistant Nick Le Luan, whose year-round work ensures the hotel’s grounds remain in peak condition throughout the changing seasons.
