Jersey Chamber Orchestra’s concert on 10 October at the Jersey Opera House is being led by the winner of the BBC Young Musician of the Year prize, Martin James Bartlett.
It will be an evening of timesless classics, by candlelight. Immerse yourself in an enchanting showcase of timeless classics by candlelight.
‘Each piece is a precious gem, meticulously chosen, say the organisers. ‘From the iconic first movement of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, the stunning rising of the oceans in Mendelssohn’s Fingal’s Cave and Mozart’s most famous Piano Concerto No. 21 to Johann Strauss’ Radetzky March, enjoy a feast of stunning music.’
After the show, a VIP ticket offers the opportunity for dinner at the Grand Hotel.

There will be two concerts:
6.00pm – 7.00pm is the first show (with dinner afterwards from 7.30pm for the VIP Ticket Option, £200 a ticket to include both the show and the dinner)
8.15pm – 9.15pm is the second show.
The charity Music in Action is at the forefront of outreach projects in Jersey. In 2025, 5000+ children and care home residents have taken part in the Music in Action outreach programme. All proceeds from this concert will support Music in Action’s Outreach Programmes, which bring inspiring music experiences to schools, care homes, and community settings across Jersey.
